Amazons gear up for the 2010 season!
The Los Angeles Amazons are geared up for the 2010 season with new additions. This season the Amazons has added four new coaches and recruited over 15 new players.
After kicking off their first practice with the West Coast Clinic over two weeks ago the Amazons began focusing on rebuilding and restructuring. Head Coach Aubrey Duncan stated “that although we will not have some of our former veterans that contributed to us being a dominating west coast team, I feel confidant in the players that we as coaches have been preparing for this new era and with the new additions of rookies we should be able to sustain our record of Division Champs”.
General Manager Kay Carter “states that this upcoming season is one of the most exciting schedules we’ve had in the last four years we actually played. We actually play six different teams in an eight game schedule; arch rivalry So Cal Scorpions which is first on the list, Sacramento surely I would think they want their revenge, and the other teams surely would like a piece of us too”. The Lady Warriors have always brought an electrifying team to the field but as they rebuild will the team have enough to uphold their 8-0 record in the regular season that they held for the last two years and continue their quest for success in the play-off. Time will only tell!
